Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of career development and job stress on job satisfaction and its impact on employee performance at CV. Mediatama Publisher DKI Jakarta Branch 1. Data were collected through questionnaires and conducted by 60 employees at the CV. Mediatama Publisher DKI Jakarta Branch 1. The analysis in this study uses SPSS version 22. This study explains 4 variables, namely: Career Development, Job Stress, Job Satisfaction, and Employee Performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of career development and job stress on job satisfaction and its impact on employee performance. the method used in this sampling is saturated sample. The data analysis method used is regression analysis. Hypothesis testing using t table and Sobel test with a significant level of 5%. Based on the results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence between Career Development on Job Satisfaction, Job Stress has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction, Job Satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, Career Development has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, Job Stress Negative and insignificant influence on employee performance, job satisfaction as a mediation that has a significant effect between career development and employee performance, job satisfaction as a mediation that has a significant effect on job stress and employee performance.
