The Impact of Self Efficacy, Locus of Control, and Employee Development on the Performance of Employees at PT. Gema Lintas Semesta

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of self-effiacy, locus of control and employee development on employee performance in PT. Gema Lintas Semesta. This research is a survey study using a questionnaire as an instrument and taken as many as 40 respondens at PT. Gema Lintas Semesta using full sampling method. Data collection was carried out by giving a list of questions to employee respondents at PT. Gema Lintas Semesta. This research uses IMB SPSS 20 for Windows linear regression analysis tool. The hypothesis is tested by t test and F test. Significance value in the t test showed the result that partially variable selfefficacy insignificant influence on employee performance (0,458 > 0,05). Variable locus of control positive and significant influence on employee performance (0,000 < 0,05). Variable employee development negative significant influence on employee performance (0,001 < 0,05). The results of the model feasibility test (F test), simultaneously variables of self-efficacy, locus of control and employee development had a positive and significant effect on employee performance (0,000 < 0,05). The variables of self-efficacy, locus of control and employee development were able to explain the employee performance variable by 54,1% and remaining 45,9% could be explained by other variables not included in this research model.
